Thousands of smiles enhanced with composite bonding

Composite bonding is a gentle, minimally invasive way to enhance your smile. It can smooth chips, close small gaps, reshape teeth and refine edges, often with no drilling or injections, making it an easy way to brighten your smile without disrupting your day.
You’ll begin with a complimentary consultation to discuss your goals. We’ll take photos and digital scans, select the ideal shade and preview your new smile before treatment.
During treatment, each tooth is carefully sculpted with tooth-coloured composite resin and polished to blend naturally with your enamel.

We create meaningful changes to our patients’ smiles with composite bonding. Using tooth-coloured resin carefully matched to your enamel, we reshape teeth, close small gaps, and repair chips in a minimally invasive way.
Treatment is often completed in just one visit, with immediate, natural-looking results that can make a real difference to your confidence.

Your smile is unique to you and important to us. We can help you to enhance, restore or refresh and ultimately improve your smile. This is achieved by making sure every step of your patient journey is personalised to you.
Composite bonding reshapes or repairs teeth using a tooth-coloured resin that’s bonded directly to the enamel. After a consultation to discuss your goals, the dentist records photos and a scan or impressions to plan the result and select a precise shade match. Minimal or no drilling is usually needed: the tooth surface is cleaned, lightly roughened, and treated with an adhesive.
The clinician then places the composite in small layers, sculpting contours to close small gaps, repair chips, lengthen edges, or improve symmetry. Each layer is set with a curing light to create a strong, durable bond. Once the desired shape is achieved, the restorations are refined and polished so they blend seamlessly with the surrounding teeth.
Results are immediate and reversible compared with more invasive options, though composite can wear or stain over time and may need periodic repolishing or repair. Good home care, avoiding biting hard objects, and, if you grind, wearing a night guard help longevity. Your dentist will also discuss maintenance and alternatives (such as whitening beforehand to lift the overall shade, or orthodontics if tooth position needs correction).
